I Go to BARISAI Cafe in Utsunomiya

My wife and I went to BARISAI Cafe to eat galette.

Galette is a French cuisine, flat crusty cakes.

I did not know what a galette was before going to the Cafe.

They were not but at all. It's worth trying them.

I Go to Twin Ring Motegi and HONDA Collection Hall

Twin Ring Motegi is an auto race track in Tochig. It takes about one hour driving from home.

There was no race held on the day, though I enjoyed watching the big racing course and seeing collections at the museum.

The name comes from the facility having two race tracks: a 2.493-kilometer (1.549 mi) oval and a 4.8-kilometer (2.98 mi) road course. It locates at Motegi town in Tochigi.

This bike was made in 1947. What an eye-opening bike it is!
Honda Collection Hall features historic Honda racing and production cars and motorcycles, and next generation technologies such as robotics, fuel-cell vehicles and aviation.

I Go and See Cherry Trees at Shinonome Shrine in Mibu Town

I took a day off the other day for some reason. In the afternoon on that day, I went to a shrine which was famous for its neighboring riverside cherry blossoms.

Riverside cherry trees were about one or two weeks ahead of their top season for flower-viewing.

But, cherry trees at the front yard of the shrine could be literally called in their peak moment of flowering.

Cherry Trees Are in Full Bloom

Many cherry trees are planted by tennis courts where I usually go. Those trees are currently in full bloom.

I can enjoy both seeing beautifully bloomed flowers and playing tennis at the same time today.

According to the local weather forecast, it will rain tomorrow. I'm not sure that the trees can keep the flowers until next weekend.

I think that short life of cherry flowers makes people love the flowers more.
