I Go to a Cafe, JD Terrace

 About one year ago, a new cafe called 'JD Terrace' opened at the corner of 'Orion Street' in Utsunomiya city.

It operates as a bar or pub at night.

My wife and I went there for lunch the other day. The cafe has a spacious hall and spreads out to each sidewalk roads.

Only three customers except us were coming there at lunch time on a warm weekday.

Mt. Fuji and the Moon

My home is located about 200 km away from Mt. Fuji.

If the sky is clear, I can see the mountain in the west direction from my balcony.

When my daughters came back home, they saw Mt. Fuji and the moon on a blue and orange painted sky canvas.

 When you book an airplane ticket from Yonago, located in the west of Japan, to Tokyo, I highly recommend you to book a left side window seat. You will catch a glimpse of Mt. Fuji about ten minutes before landing.

 My family members spent two nights together at my mam's house.
I added another wonderful memory and photos in my mind.

I Go to a Cafe in the Morning

Usually, we go to Cafe for lunch.
The cafe called Bistro Quatorze opens their shop from early morning to midnight.
They prepare light breakfast in the morning and serve strong whisky and tequila at night.
There were no other customers except us because we got there before 8 o'clock.
Sometimes, I can make good use of a day by going cafe in the morning.

I Attend a Religious Ceremony in My Hometown

My mother, my brother and sister planed a ceremony of twelfth anniversary of my father's death.
We called it Jyuu-san-kaiki in Japanese or in the special term of Buddhisum.
My wife, two daughters and I went to my hometown about 1000 km west of my home, Matsue city.
We attended the ceremony, enjoyed delicious lunch and a reunion there.

Air Trip to Shimane

I went back to my home town with my family by air the other day.
Traveling by airplane is always a great fun to me this season because snow capped mountains are so beautiful.
Changing outside scenery made me forget a lapse of time during 90 minutes flight from Tokyo to Yonago.

I Go to a Curry House, Colombia

My wife and I went to a restaurant specialized in South American curry dishes the other day.

The name of the restaurant was Colombia.
They served unfamiliar taste of curry food.

There are many Indian curry restaurants in our city but few cook Colombian curry.

I Go Hiking Along Riverside Trails in Kinugawa Hot Spa Resort

Since two hour hiking course was well maintained, my wife and I enjoyed seeing beautiful waterfalls and good walking exercises; even some part of the trails were wet and slippery.

Mountain Trail in the Rain

The mountain trail started just behind Jiganji-temple in Nikko.

My wife and I stepped in the path and walked just for one hundred meters in the rain.

The leaves of trees at both side of the path, beautifully shining green, seemed to become blazing red in autumn season.

We walked down the steps, painted a red demon, from our hotel to a bridge over Kinu river and were gazing at the flow of water for several minutes.
Before we noticed it, the rain had been over.

I think it is sometimes important to take a rest and do nothing.
Just look at a changing scenery from a hotel balcony for looong time.

The day we stayed at Kinugawa Onsen Spa Resort was like the moment my wife and I spent.

The color of the mountains, the sky and the river surface were changing with a lapse of time.

The dinner at the hotel was more than perfect and we enjoyed ample time of hot spa bathing.

Kinugawa Onsen Riverside

I went to Kinugawa Onsen spa resort with my wife in autumn last year.

The river had smoke on the surface of the wafer.

There were plants having beautiful berries.
