Empire State Building

The Empire State Building is illuminated by the setting sun.

I think it can be said that no other building is so beautiful as the Empire State Building in the United States.

It can be seen from every direction in Manhattan. Namely, we can see every direction in the city from the observation decks on the 86th floor.

On the day we went atop, it was rather cold day. So, I caught a cold then I spent hard days and nights for two to three days there.

It Is Too Short To See All Exhibitions In One Day

Collections at Metropolitan Museum of Art was huge.
It is definitely Not enough to see all exhibitions in one day.

Unlike that most of Japanese museums prohibit photo taking, the Met allows visitors to take pictures of exhibitions.

The Met also offered us tours with foreign language speaking guides, including  French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Mandarin, and Spanish.

More than 160 objects include renowned terracotta army warriors, ceramics, metalwork and sculpture.

I Go to Metropolitan Museum of Art

One of the main purposes of my visit to New York City was visiting museums.

Metropolitan Museum of Art is said one of the largest, not only in N.Y.C. but also in the world.

There are lots and lots of collections such as paintings, pictures and sculptures from various countries in the world in every period of history.

 'Hercules the Archer' is displayed in many countries many places.

More than 150 photographs by American photographer Irving Penn(1917-2009) were displayed at gallery rooms.

I Go to The Central Park in Manhattan

I went to the Central Park in New York City on a hot and sunny day with my wife.

There were wild animals and birds in the park. Especially, lots of squirrels were running here and there, up and down in the park.

Many young people were enjoying sunbathing.
