Two-and-half-hour-driving from home brought us to a fish market of the small seaside town in Ibaraki prefecture.

There were various fresh fish at the market just next to a big harbor.

We had delicious lunch at a restaurant beside the market, then enjoyed seeing colorful and beautiful fish display.

Musha-Gyoretsu or a warriors parade was held when I was staying my hometown.

It was the first time I saw such kind of parade in Matsue city.

Boys, girls, men, women, young and old wearing historical warrior costumes or princess kimono took part in the parade.

I Go to Matsue Castle Park

It was a top season of cherry blossoms in Matsue city.
I had planed the trip, thinking about the best timing by checking a forecast of the cherry blooming top season in the area on the web.

There were plenty of cherry trees in Matsue Castle Park.

When I was a child, I often went to the park with my family members. One of my memories of my grandfather was that I walked to the park by holding my grandpa's hand to see cherry trees.

Apparently, it was more than fifty years ago.
