I Go to Mohka City on a Rainy Day

My wife and I went to Mohka city.
We visited Chourenji temple, a cotton museum, Kubo Memorial Museum and a hot spa house on a rainy day.
It was even on Sunday, we met few people in those sites due to both COVID-19 and bad weather.
It was our first visit to the sites. We were able to spend very meaningful afternoon and had an enjoyable drive.

I Go to Imamiya Shrine in Sakura City

My wife and I dropped in for a short visit to Imamiya shrine in Sakura city.
There was a famous sake brewery "Senkin" near the shrine.
I once drank sparkling rice wine produced by the brewery more than five years ago.
I still remember how tasty that rice wine was.

The Biwazuka Kofun uses a natural hill as its base.
The length is 123 meters, width is 70 meters and 9 meters high; it is said the second largest in Tochigi prefecture, estimated that this kofun dates from the first half of the 6th century.

I Go to a Restaurant, "10 Picnic Tables"

Murasaki Shikibu was a Japanese novelist, poet during the Heian period.

She is best known as the author of The Tale of Genji, widely considered to be one of the world's first novels, written in Japanese between about 1000 and 1012.

The board in the above picture, located near "10 Picnic Tables" says that those are called tomb stones of Murasaki Shikibu.

But, according to Wikipedia, her tomb was built in Kyoto region.
