Kamloops, located in the south-central part of British Columbia, Canada, is a scenic city surrounded by majestic mountains and beautiful rivers.
As its name, which means "place where the waters meet" in the language of the Shuswap people, an indigenous people of Canada, suggests, the city is located at the confluence of the South Thompson River and Kamloops Lake.
