I Go To Tsuwano, the "Little Kyoto" of Sanin






The "Hyakkeizu"

The picture above is Japan Heritage, the "Hyakkeizu", which are 100 paintings depicting in vivid detail, the daily life of the Tsuwano Domain during the Edo period, about 160 years ago.





The "Baby Heron Dance" performed at Tsuwano Yasaka Shrine in Tsuwano Town is a traditional event in which elementary school students dress up as baby herons and dance.
