Wild Birds in Tochigi

My daughter's family, my wife and I went to a rose garden in Igashira Park the other day.

The garden is famous not only for its rose flowers but also wild birds at the pond. The number of the birds was far beyond my previous guess. They lived together with their families. 

Adult birds were feeding their young birds in their nest built on a branch of a tree.

The butterfly lived with lots of fellows and beautiful flowers. 

Heaven might be like here this garden, mightn't it?

The botanical garden kept not only plants and flowers but also kept cute birds in the same area. Toco toucan was one of them.

Flowers were, of course, beautiful. 

In addition to the flowers, those birds gave spices to visitors to the garden.

We paid a visit to butterfly garden in Igashira park the other day.

Lots of butterflies were beautifully fluttering in the botanical garden. 

The staff there had displayed a Christmas tree with butterfly pupas.

There were many ducks, three herons and three cormorants, at least I found, at the Igashira park. 

There was a little museum beside the pond which had displays explaining how, when and from where those migratory birds came to the park.

My wife and I went to Igashira park on a sunny Monday last week.

Maple trees had beautiful red leaves. 

It was not too cool or not too warm while walking around the pond at the park.

BBQ with My Tennis Friends and Their Families

I went to Igashira park for a barbecue party with my tennis friends and their family members.

There were barbecue spaces, a fishing pond, a flower garden and tennis courts there.

We usually use tennis courts, of course, but this time we chose a BBQ space for a change.

We drunk beer, ate meet, vegetables, fish, needles and so forth.

It's nice to know some of my aggressive tennis players having such cute kids.
