It Snowed In Utsunomiya City, Japan

The heavy snowfall came during a national election and university entrance exam season. 

It snowed 12 cm in Utsunomiya, 26 cm at Lake Chuzenji in Oku-Nikko and 9 cm in Nasu Highlands.

I Go to Tobu Hotel

My wife, younger daughter and I went to tobu hotel to have morning buffet during the year-end and New Year holidays.
I went many hotels in my city just for the purpose of having breakfast there. Tobu hotel is the best among them, I think, in terms of taste, service and reasonable price.

Night Cherry Blossoms Along the Kamagawa River

Weeping cherry trees are planted along both banks of Kamagawa river.

It takes us only a few minutes from home to the river side.

The river is not big, just a few meters wide and less than 10 km long.

They illuminate the cherry blanches in the same way as Futarasan shrine in the middle of April.

I took the picture on the left several years ago at Kamagawa river in the daytime.
