Bridges Over Islands in Okinawa

There are beautiful bridges in Okinawa prefecture, especially in Miyako island. 

All bredges are toll free, even very long ones.

You can enjoy both seeing beautiful senery and driving,

I Go to Sefa-utaki or "Purified Place of Utaki"

Sefa Utaki is on the Chinen Peninsula, and has been recognized as a sacred place since the earliest period of Ryukyuan history. 

The shrine area had a number of caves and overhanging ledges opening to the east and south. The place is part of the UNESCO World Heritage.

I Eat Okinawan Cuisine

Some foods were very unique in the area, especially, the Okinawan noodle soup was the "Special."

These are examples of Okinawan foods which we ate in the Island.

Miyako Blue Is Worth Seeing

It was December when we went to Miyako island. 

The ocean, beach, sky, forest, everything was too beautiful to explain.

The temperature there was above twenty degree centigrade even at night. 

Of course, you can swim there in winter seasonr.  

I Go to Nakagusuku Castle Ruins

I went to Nakagusuku Castle Ruins in Okinawa prefecture on our way to Ikei island. It took about one hour from the center of Naha city to the site by car.

Nakagusuku Castle is on the list of 100 famous castles in Japan.

It was added to the list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites in 2000. 

I See The Sunrise at The Eastcoast in Okinawa

We stayed one night at Ikei Island located several kilometers off the eastcoast of Okinawa Island.

It was cloudly in the early morning, though we could see the rising sun between the ocean and clouds. 

Trip to Okinawa Starts from Haneda Airport

We booked a late night flight from Haneda to Naha. So, we left Utunomiya for the airport around 4 o'clock in the evening. That was the beginning of our trip.

It took more than two hours on board, watching movies, reading books and checking e-mails with my laptop PC.

It was almost 12 in the morning when we arrived at our hotel in Naha city.

We ate delicious Okinawa tasting breakfast while reading tour guide books. 

I rent a car and started our trip heading north with this "Lexus RX F Sport."
