I Go To Kinugawa Hot Spa Resort

Kinugawa Hot Spa Resort area was extensively developed for tourism in the 1970s.

But, it has experienced severe economic difficulties after a downturn caused by the 1990s recession.

We went there with my family members the other day.

It was unknown how severe recession was, the autumn scenery was definitely beautiful.

 These pictures tell how I take photos when I am walking around a town on a trip.

Colored trees, beautiful river and a bridge over the river attracted us. Though there were many dilapidated old hotel buildings at the area, I believed that the town was still worth visiting for tourists.

I Go to Edo Wonderland #3

There were several In-House shows and street performances at the Edo Wonderland. 

Each show was very entertaining and every attendant of the street performance was beautifully dressed up for visitors.

Including the street performer, all staff members both men and women were wearing traditional Japanese kimono. 

Old houses at the park and staff clothes combined to make the Edo Wonderland more interesting as if we could gone back to the old era.

Edo Wonderland or Nikko Edomura is a Japanese cultural theme park in Kinugawa Onsen area of Nikko, Tochigi prefecture.

The park resurrects the life and culture of the Edo period.

The park hosts a wide variety of Edo period architecture from various shops, rural lodgings to urban samurai residences and government buildings.

Devil Statues and The Way I Take Pictures

These are devil statues displayed at several places of sightseeing spots in Kinugawa Onsen town. 

Most tourists take pictures of themselves with the statues. 

I was not the exception.
