I Walk Around Downtown Melbourne To Sourthern Cross Station

Flinders Street Station

Yarra River

Melbourne is the capital and most populous city of the Australian state of Victoria, and the second most-populous city in Australia.
The area of Melbourne has been home to Aboriginal Victorians for over 40,000 years.

Yarra River

The Yarra River is a river in south-central Victoria, Australia.

The river was called Birrarung by the Kulin people who occupied the Yarra Valley and much of Central Victoria prior to European colonisation.

The name Birrarung means "river of mists," as the area around the waterfall tended to get misty before nightfall.

A towering 5-metre-tall bronze pumpkin sculpture by Yayoi Kusama, weighing more than nine tonnes has eleven ‘dancing’ yellow-and-black polka-dotted legs.

Kusama first became fascinated with pumpkins as a young girl growing up on her family’s seed and plant farm in Matsumoto in Japan.
