I Go To Fukui Prefecture

It was the first time for me to visit Fukui prefecture.

Maruoka castle was rather small but was beautifully preserved.

Unfortunatly, it was rainning during our visit, we enjoyed taking pictures and talking with a castle guide at the site.

Osashimi or raw fish was very delicious and the cook who served the dishes was very young and friendly guy. He elaborately explained the food.

Tojinbo is a famous sightseeing spot in Fukui prefecture.

I Go Seeing Hydrangea Flowers #2

The tree frog suited well on a hydrangea leave. He seemed to enjoy seeing beautiful flowers around him.

I thought that we would come back here again someday, maybe several years later in early June.

I Go Seeing Hydrangea Flowers

I went to Kitaibaraki city with my wife last week. We visited three sightseeing places.
One of them was a hydrangea forest park.
We found that the season of the flower had just finished.
The sign placed on the entrance of the park mentioned that the festival of hydrangea had finished one day before our visit.

We coincidentally met the owner of the park, then he kindly invited us to see the flowers in the park for free.
Even the festival had been overt, the flowers were still very beautiful and we enjoyed seeing them and taking pictures of the flowers.

I Go to Ashikaga Flower Park

Ashikaga Flower Park is famous for its beautiful wisteria flowers in this season.
But, there are lots of other beautiful flowers blooming in the park now.

There are so many flowers that some of small ones, I even don't know their name, are being ignored by the visitors, shadowed behind other spotlighted big branch of flowers.

I thank all gardeners working there for the great job from the bottom of my heart.

Hydrangea Flowers in the Rain

We are still in the rainy season here in Utsunomiya.
My schedules of playing tennis are apt to be cancelled recently. It is not the exception today.
Hydrangea flowers in Utsunomiya Central Park are blooming beautifully these days.
On occasion, forgetting about playing tennis, taking pictures of flowers can refresh my mind.
