Tokyo Tower and Tokyo Bay

My wife and daughter had a Tokyo waterfront area tour called "Tokyo Duck Tour" the other day.

They took a ride on an amphibious bus going around Tokyo bay area.

I Take Pictures at Museums in Tochigi City and Ashikaga City

Even heavy rainfall hit in western Japan last week, it is very hot in my city these days.

According to the TV news, more than two hundred people passed away due to the pouring rain for just last two weeks.

We have still rainy days recently in my city, even meteorological institute declared the end of rainy season.

My wife and I went to two famous flower gardens and several museums spending two separate days.

I enjoyed seeing both beautifully bloomed flowers and art exhibits.

Rainy season has been over in my town, Utsunomiya city.

I went to a botanical garden in southern part of our prefecture with my wife at the last moment of our rainy season.

Emerald creeper were full in bloom at that time.

Utsunomiya Animation Festival 2018

This year's animation festival was held  just next to my condominium the other day.

Many young girls and boys wore animation character costume.

They were called cosplayer in Japanese; that is the word of combination of 'costume' and 'player.'

Roses and Cactuses

   Japan is now in the middle of the rainy season. We have three or four rainy days in a week these days.

I went to a botanical garden with my wife on Sunday last week.

I took pictures of roses in the rain and huge cactuses in the glasshouse.

There was a variety types of roses in the park.

Of course, red roses are the most famous, I know, but you can see yellow flowers and pink flowers.

You can even see mixture of yellow and pink, mixture of red and white colored petals at the garden.

Sunlight was not so strong that I was able to take unexpected soft color pictures.

Those are some of examples of flowers blooming in the park.

They say that they change flowers in every field after blooming finished to keep flowers blooming for visitors all the year around.
