I Go To ”Hotel Nagomi” in Tochigi Prefecture

The hotel we stayed was quite unique, it had a previous elementary school which was built in 1934. Visitors to the hotel were able to see the site for free.

The school was registered as a tangible cultural property on February 4, 2021.

It reminded me of the days I was a little kid and friends with whom I played at that time.

The last four pictures were taken by my wife Kiyono.

I Go To Kurita Museum

There were lots of pottery and porcelain,  displaced in the Kurita museum.

In some areas, they prohibited us from photo taking, though it was enough to enjoy seeing the artifacts.

The museum was Specializing in Imari ware and Nabeshima ware. It had "Large Nabeshima Plate with Rock and Peony Design."

No other cars except ours were parking in the area, even this big museum.

I Go to Kousouji Temple and Ubagaike Pond Park

I enjoyed a one night two days' trip to Haga-machi.
The town was  located in the east of Utsunomiya city, about one hour car drive away from home.
On our way to the hotel, my wife and I visited a temple and a pond park. Hagamachi has a few sightseeing spots. The two places were among them.

The Time Slips Into Showa Era

A few people were walking there when my wife and I visited the town.
More than half or more of the houses and shops were unbelievably old in certain area.

Ironically, the tobacco shop and the drug store were standing side by side divided by a narrow street.

I could not image who buy those goods at this shop and how they use them.
