I Go To The Derry Walls In Northern Ireland

The walls are about 1.6 kilometres in circumference and contain many of the city's most important landmarks.
The entire length of the walls is accessible on foot.
There are seven gates in total, four of which were built at the same time as the walls themselves and three were added later.

Bishop's Gate

Bishop's gate is one of the original four gates. The original gate was replaced with a triumphal arch in 1789.

We Visit Historical Places of Yeats, Irish Poet

Sligo Country Museum

William Butler Yeats (13 June 1865 – 28 January 1939) was an Irish poet, dramatist and writer, and one of the foremost figures of 20th-century literature.

We went to Sligo Country Museum and the grave of W. B. Yeats in Drumcliff cemetery.

The grave of W. B. Yeats in Drumcliff Cemetery

"Cast a cold eye on life, on death."   "Horseman pass by!"

The literal translation of the poet into Japanese follows,

生と死に冷たい目を投げかけよ。馬に乗った人が通り過ぎる!

Then, free translation follows,

人生ははかなく、ちらりと一瞥するうちに生と死の境目がやってきてしまう。

人はまるで、馬に乗って駆け抜けるかのごとく、その境目を渡るのだ。

We Stay At "Hillcrest" B&B In Ireland

After two and a half hours by car, we arrived at B&B "Hillcrest" from B&B "Blakehill House".

Hillcrest B&B is located almost at the top of a hill, offering stunning views of farmland and a beautiful lake.

We enjoyed the beautiful views and delicious breakfast.
