When you drive to the downtown in Portland by car, you may use this parking meter.

You input your car's license plate number and pay the fee by your credit card. The receipt will be sent to your phone.

We enjoyed walking around the town for about two hours after leaving our car.

I Go To Mashiko Entsuji Temple

I went to Entsuji temple in Mashiko town with Rina, Takumi and Kiyono the other day.

The town is just one hour driving distance from my home.

The leaves of the trees were beautifully colored

I Go To Moka City

I went to Moka city with my wife, daughter and grandson by car today.

We had lunch there and enjoyed seeing steam locomotives which was one of my grandson's most favorite vehicles.

I Go To Suginohara Farm In Kabe Island

I went to Suginohara Farm where you could see cattle, the ocean, a lighthouse and ships at the same time.

I Go To Kanazawa City

I went to the 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art and Crafts in Ishikawa prefecture.

I also went to the Ishikawa Prefectural Museum of Traditonal Arts and Crafts.

Then, back to the 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art and Crafts again.

I Go To Lake Shinji At The Time of Sunset

Lake Shinji, whichi is on the list of famous scenic sites in Japan known as Nihon Hyakkei or The 100 Landscapes of Japan, can be viewed while traveling along the Taisha Line of the Ichibata Electric Pailway.

A ray was swimming in Lake Shinji.

You can see the fish, at the same time you can enjoy seeing beautiful sunset scenery from lakeside in Matsue city, Shimane prefecture.

I Go To Toyama Municipal Library and Glass Art Museum

It was also before the 2024-new-year disastrous earthquake when we visited the library and museum.

The building and exhibits are so nice and well-organized that you have to visit there when you travel in Hokuriku.
