View of the Empire State Building from Wolcott Hotel

On a rainy day,
Looking up to the sky from the window at Wolcott Hotel in the morning, I imagined a musical title 'Singing in the Rain.'

I checked it on the web; it was Hollywood, not New York City.

My image of the musical was definitly N.Y.C.

It's not bad walking in the rain in New York City.

Regardless of the weather, the building was iluminated everyday with different color, green, blue, red, or their mixture at night.

It was another fun to see the iluminated building at night.

Wolcott Hotel in the Morning

We ate light complimentary breakfast, coffee and muffin, at the hotel lobby looking at sightseeing leaflets, wondering if where we were going every morning.

After breakfast at the hotel lobby, we came back to our room, prepared for a day visit.
These beds were rather small in the States. The size of them was almost as small as Japanese hotel's bed size. They were enough for us, as a matter of course.

The pictures bellow are posted on the web, 'Booking.com.'

We Stay at Wolcott Hotel

We stayed at a Hotel just 200 meters from Empire State Building located in the Midtown New York City.
The picture above was taken through the window of the room we stayed.

Since the hotel had been built more than 100 years ago, the appearance of the chocolate-colored building told us years of unwritten story and history, though the inside the hotel was quite neat and clean.

The scene from the window perfectly overlapped my image of N.Y.C. buildings.
