I Go To Nagano Prefecture

Wada-shuku was the twenty-eighth of the sixty-nine stations of the Nakasendo highway connecting Tokyo with Kyoto during the Edo period.
It was located in the present-day town of Nagawa, in the Chiisagata District of Nagano Prefecture.

Hiroshige's ukiyo-e print of Wada-shuku dates from 1835–1838 depicts a view of Wada Pass in wintertime.

We took pictures of Lake Suwa from Tateishi park at an altitude of 934m in Suwa City, Nagano Prefecture in the rain.
It is said that  Lake Itomori, which appeared in the 2016 movie "Your Name" or "Kimino Nawa", was modeled here, and many fans from all over the world visit this place.

I Go to Zenkoji Temple in Nagano

I went to Zenkoji Temple the other day. It was a Buddhist temple located in the city of Nagano.

The temple was built in the 7th century and still beautifully preserved and maintained.

Cafe Le Ciel

We went to Karuizawa in Nagano to spend our Golden Week last week.

Golden week: the period from April 29th to May 5th when there are four national holidays in Japan.

When we were passing by a narrow street, I happened to find a cafe called “Le Ciel”  in the forest.

I pulled over and dropped by the cafe without hesitation, then we took a sip of a cup of coffee and a cup of cream tea there.

We could spend a comfortable afternoon time in beautiful nature.
